Timothy Brentlinger is a United States Army veteran and political figure active in Lucas County, Ohio. Raised in Wood County, Brentlinger served three tours with the United States Army South (USARSO) stationed at Ft. Kobbe, Panama. Following his initial service, he attended the University of Toledo but was recalled to federal service shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Professionally, he is the president of the Sylvania Area Republican Club and is a recently ordained minister. Brentlinger's political activity began in earnest around 2015 when he first ran for the County Central Committee. He has since served as a precinct committeeman for Sylvania and currently serves as the Chairman of the Lucas County Republican Central Committee. His political platform emphasizes constitutional conservatism, traditional party values, and opposition to the early endorsement of candidates by state committees before primary elections. He is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and resides in Lucas County with his wife and five children.
